What is a foreign fill?

A foreign fill is a lash fill performed on lash extensions that were applied by another lash artist. Every artist uses different products, technique, lash mapping, and styling, I start by assessing the current extensions and the health of your natural lashes to determine if its safe to continue the fill. If the existing lashes are healthy, have good retention, and are compatible to with my products and techniques, I can then go ahead and refresh the extensions into a beautiful new set. However if the extensions are not placed correctly, bad retention or excessive outgrowth, a removal and new full set may be recommend to ensure the health of your natural lashes and achieve the best results.

Please Note :

Foreign fills take additional time to asses and blend existing lash work. If your current extensions do not meet my standards for a fill,. I will discuss the best option with your before beginning the service.

Who Is a Good Candidate?

  • You have at least 40-50% of your lash extension remaining

  • Your extensions were professionally applied

  • Your natural lashes are healthy

  • Your current lashes have good retention

  • You’re looking to continue maintaining your existing lash set

FAQs

Will you remove any outgrowns?

yes, throughout the appointment I will go through and remove all outgrown lashes just like a regular fill. I remove all the ones that are twisting or improperly placed extensions before applying the new ones.

Can I Switch to a different lash style?

Yes as long as your extsising lashes allow for it, I can make small adjustments to your style, such as adding more volume or changing the shape. If your are looking for a complete new style right away a full set is the best option.

Why would I might need a full set?

A new full set may be recommended if:

  • Too few extensions remain

  • The lashes were improperly applied

  • The adhesive has excessive buildup

  • Your natural lashes need a fresh start

  • Your desired style cannot be achieved with your current set

This recommendation is always made to ensure the healthiest, longest-lasting results.
